Art Statement
Working towards perfection in alignment, proportion, and function. Colors that harmonize yet are bold. Imagining shapes and creating them just so.
The closer to perfection, the more work appears machine made.. which in today’s world becomes part of the illusion- that the work is made not by machine but simply breath and hand.
With the irony being that the cleaner the piece, the more ambiguous the process and thus the value. And so ultimately; thru design of shape and and color, the more significant the job of the artist to create something uniquely personal and powerful to the collector.
